Painting, or the art of applying a pigment on a surface. But even if we focus on the technique, there is much more than that: drawing, compositions, sense of colors… Of course this is not yet art, we still need an idea, a personal vision to be shared with other people through the medium. And then, maybe or maybe not, we’ll have something we could consider as art.
